Here’s wishing Everyone a Happy New Year.
Happy New Year with Lady Luck
Why is it that we, or should I say most of the world, celebrate the New Year?
Apparently, and I’m not making this up, it actually comes from Roman times.
In ancient Roman religion, Janus was the God of new beginnings and had two faces as he was meant to look to the past and future.
Furthermore, some folks reckon that his name was used to make up the month of January.
And when you think about it, countries or folks who live in the northern hemisphere experience winter which is a crap time of year weather wise – unless you like living in a fridge that is.
So, I think it’s rather apt that you can’t spell Janus without anus.
That’s poetic justice in my book!
Anyways, I’d like to wish everyone a really great 2019 and health, wealth and happiness…
